Halfmoon Club Chat

In the world of aquariums often hear talk about "standards" when referring to Bettas, guppies, etc ..., but what is it really?

The standard is a list of physical characteristics, a description as a photograph of a particular variety of fish species. In the case of Bettas this list of descriptors is armed by international institutions, following a pattern previously set by organizations like the International Betta Congress.

Some clubs or forums specializing in Bettas are based on these standards. Such is the case of BettaMX Club, who drew a series of standards as a basis for identity registration and pedigree, thereby promoting the quality of Bettas in Mexico. In this way, breeders can have the worldwide recognition of their offspring, to market and make the copies on contests and competitions that take place around the world.

No Betta reaches perfection in these standards, only a percentage of what is required. Still, for a Betta to participate in competitions structure and beauty must be within the range corresponding standard.

In the case of Halfmoon Betta, the BettaMX Club has made a standard described below in the following talks by video

Note .- Betta shown in the standard HM BettaMX Club, is my property and I have understood that was one of the main sources of rturrubi, for graphic lines were used to illustrate the points that have been described: P did not know until little is good, which I greatly appreciate that they have used. It's an honor really, thanks:)
