Considerations for the breeding of our Bettas. Part V "The Dark Side of the Bettas"

Bettas farming has many positive moments. Unfortunately, breeding also has many disadvantages, which ignore many new breeders often.

Note that you must deal with these problems. Not all proposals are good, not all offspring survive, some specimens at the end are not like what you expected. So read carefully the following lines.

births are a major burden for females and males, although it is not normal, females can sometimes be too damaged or too male weak after laying. The likely outcome of this may be that some or all may be able to have new posts. These birth defects are a significant burden on the specimens and usually lead to death if not acted quickly enough.

These things are sometimes silly but expensive and what we get from the sale of young people does not even cover the cost of reproduction, nutrition or disease. Wholesale farmers recover their costs only when they treat their sick animals. That for a passionate hobby breeder like us, is unthinkable and must be aware of assuming high costs that arise. Although this also means that sometimes touch us decide whether we can or should end the suffering of our Bettas.

Do you have a sufficient financial reserve to pay for emergencies?

Can you really take an objective decision about the quality of your Bettas and their offspring?

Got enough room for large and active your Betta has a good place to retire?

Got enough space to have your Bettas Aquariums separate until the 5 to 7 months?

Got enough to separate a betta aquarium that problems in the breeding?

If any of your answers have been negative, perhaps you should reconsider the idea of \u200b\u200bbreeding again.
